She’s not cold. She’s collecting data

A client sent me this after weeks of trying to “get her to open up”:

“I stopped trying to fix her emotions… and started doing the boring things that make her feel safe again.”

Then he said something that stuck:

“She doesn’t need me to be perfect. She just needs to see I’m heading somewhere different.”
